What is UGoveRN Planning+Property?
UGoveRN stands for Urban Governance Research Network and is an academic platform to build, share and communicate research activities in the field of urban governance and planning. The platform was initiated by Prof. Dr. Tuna Tasan-Kok within the framework of her Chair of Urban Governance and Planning at the University of Amsterdam, and is supported by a Centre for Urban Studies’ Seed Grant XL. The main aim of UGoveRN is to connect academics, practitioners and communities who work in the field of urban governance to create an interactive platform to discuss and collaborate research.
UGoveRN Planning + Property Chapter members explore the dynamic landscapes of urban governance in an increasingly property-led planning environment and discuss new ways of policymaking, planning and urban development from a critical perspective.
What does UGoveRN Planning+Property do?
The Planning+Property Chapter members initiates a variety of projects, including webinar series and early career seminars, in collaboration with a wide range of academic, public and property industry partners, open to participants and attendees worldwide.
